Open Readiness for the selected dashboard server. Start here when you are unsure what remains to be done.
What Readiness checks
Depending on the profile, checks cover installed files, runtime prerequisites, configuration health, port conflicts, Windows Firewall, disk space, process ownership, and recent logs.
- Ready: The checks have not found a blocking issue.
- Review: Read the explanation and decide whether action is needed.
- Blocked: Resolve the reported requirement before attempting that operation.
Opening the center runs checks; it does not grant blanket permission to apply every suggested repair. Read the selected issue and any repair confirmation first.
Readiness is not proof that an internet player can join, that a mod is compatible, or that every game feature has been tested.
First-start checklist
- Confirm the selected game, edition, version, and server folder.
- Resolve missing runtimes or required launch files using the named official source.
- Verify that required ports are not already occupied.
- Review passwords and any game-owned account/token requirements.
- Finish setup's required step 3 — Review and save, then choose Start and follow the First-Start Assistant.
- Watch Activity & Diagnostics and the latest game log until loading is complete.
- Complete any setup inside the game itself.
- Test a local connection, then an external connection if needed.
- Create and verify a backup.
Some games generate configuration files on the first boot. Others need a claimed server, an accepted agreement, or an initial world/session before they are usable. Synix does not replace those game requirements.
Installation activity
SteamCMD can download, extract, verify, pause for account authentication, and print progress unevenly. The dashboard animation shows that an operation is active; the setup strip is unrelated to download progress.
If progress appears stuck, check the latest status, available disk space, Steam login prompts, and logs before repeatedly clicking Start. Do not launch a second installer into the same folder.
Compatibility Verification
Install, Start, Stop, Monitoring, and other supported verification categories record applicable successful checks; the catalog can also include bundled historical results from earlier Synix versions. Check the result's version/date. Not verified yet means that result has not been recorded; it does not mean the profile has been certified as broken.
A previously verified result does not certify every later game update, loader, mod combination, or network setup.
The Game List explains the bundled verification coverage. Game Mod Support records a separate documentation review; a documented mod method is not a passed live-server test.
If an action is unavailable
Read the current explanation. Common causes are another operation in progress, a running server that must be stopped, unsupported game capabilities, missing required settings, or an external deployment managed by the game itself.
Requested backup/update failure or pending restore settings synchronization can also block Start intentionally. See Workflow Safety & Recovery.
For a persistent failure, use Troubleshooting & FAQs and Settings → Report a Problem.
